Airah Pineda, MS, LAC
Airah graduated with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from TCNJ. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and is currently in the process of becoming a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC).
Her background in various settings in the field, from community mental health agency to providing in-community/in-home services, has given her a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health/substance use disorders, and the importance of an individualized and multicultural approach to care.
With a passion in supporting individuals with co-occurring disorders, Airah utilizes evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to empower clients reach meaningful progress, healing and positive changes in their lives.
Airah also brings with her previous experience in the behavioral health field as a Registered Behavior Technician and Life Coach for children and adults on the Autism Spectrum Disorder, another population she holds very close to her heart.
