Francess Kanyako, LAC, ICGC-1, NCC, MS
Francess Kanyako is a Licensed Associate Counselor with a Master of Science in Counseling from Widener University and more than 10 years of experience working with individuals and families with developmental and intellectual disabilities. She also has more than four years of direct counseling experience with diverse and multicultural populations.
Francess provides mental health counseling for couples, families, children, and adolescents. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anger issues, life transitions, and interpersonal relationship challenges.
Her approach is person-centered, solution-oriented, and trauma-informed. Francess integrates evidence-based therapy practices, strength-based techniques, and holistic methods to support each client’s individual needs and treatment goals. She works collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, strengthen coping skills, and support meaningful progress.
Francess is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
She offers daytime and evening appointments, with both in-person and virtual therapy sessions available.
